Meet: Stephen L Sullivan

Known as "Sully", Stephen L Sullivan, is thrilled and grateful to be joining the Lonesome No More! family for their production of "No Exit"!  After his first right of passage into this world along the eastern seaboard, his family set up camp on the outskirts of the sprawling metropolis of Los Angeles. His calling to thespianic endeavor began in his earliest years and he began training at the Pasadena Playhouse School for Young Actors. After graduating from UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, he thrust his career into the wonderful world of Hollywood. This is where he continues to wander the backroads, avoiding traffic, in order to maintain his perfect on time record for auditions, rehearsals and call times. Thank you to all of my family and friends for your never ending support and encouragement! For complete contact information, resume, photos and film/tv reel, please visit:

Coming again this Sunday!

Last month we tried something new at Lonesome No More! Theatre: The "Arty Party".

An informal night with an informal theme. Stories, songs, spoken word, dance, trivia, performance art - in short, anything that anyone wanted to do could be done. February's theme was love and the evening was a blast, so we're making it a monthly event.

March's theme is luck & fate.
Everyone's invited!

For Immediate Release

Lonesome No More! Theatre and Combined Artform Present NO EXIT by Jean-Paul Sartre in Hollywood March 30 – April 28, 2012.
Young Company Presents Existential Classic Through a Modern Lense as Artists In Residence at Theatre Asylum

March 1, 2012.

Los Angeles, CA – Lonesome No More! Theatre presents Jean-Paul Sartre’s NO EXIT as their first work as Artists in Residence at Theatre Asylum Lab in Hollywood. NO EXIT has ten performances March 20 – April 28, with a weekend of previews March 23 – 25.

Moments after their respective deaths, three strangers find themselves locked up in a single room in Sartre’s NO EXIT, faced with a maddening new world in which they can cover their eyes but never sleep. They can go to the door, but they cannot open it. There are no torture instruments, but they torment one another and a lifetime of memories haunts them all. Director Lori Petermann presents Sartre’s truly dark and surprisingly funny play through a contemporary lens that projects three characters we recognize from our own present day: a cocky businessman, a self-made socialite, and a minimum wage member of the service industry. As the action examines the choices made by each that led them to NO EXIT, the true existential conundrum arises: how does an individual make the correct choices that leads them to a fulfilling life – and at what cost?

Lonesome No More! Theatre is a Los Angeles-based company of creative producers and performers known for highly energetic productions boldly staged to utilize the entire theatrical space. Founded in January 2011, the company began with an award-winning, sold-out production of Frank Wedekind’s Spring Awakening for the Hollywood Fringe Festival (June 2011), followed by Making Love Over There at Theatre Asylum (September 2011), and Woyzeck by Georg B├╝chner with Yeaheavy Projects in East Hollywood (November 2011).
